The Al Menah Chanters
The Chanter Unit in Shrine Temple were originally organized to perform the chants which are an integral part of the first section of the ceremonial initiation. They were composed of Nobles who enjoyed singing and the fellowship of other Nobles who enjoy music. As time passed, the Chanters unit expanded their activity to providing vocal entertainment at many and varied affairs.
The Al Menah Chanters are typical of Chanter Units throughout the world. If a new noble or a member of the nobility likes to sing, he needn’t be a trained musician. The Chanters can always use new members.
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday at the Shrine Center.
